MUTHAYAMMAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Until early 1980, higher education remained only a dream in the minds of rural Indian students and they had to go a long way in fulfilling their aspirants. Considering this plight and to help the unreached, Muthayammal Educational Trust (now Muthayammal Educational Institutions) was formed in the year 1983 under the visionary leadership of Shri.R.Ramasamy, the Chairman with the able support from Shri.K.P.Ramaswamy, Secretary; Shri.R.Kandasamy, Treasurer and the Board of Trustees.

Now the institutions offer 24 UG programmes, 26 PG programmes, 3 Research programmes, 7 Diploma courses and 2 certificates courses stands as one of the elite groups of institutions imparting education in Engineering, Technology, Arts & Science catering to the needs of about 6500 students from various parts of our Country and abroad.

Muthayammal Polytechnic College was established in the year 1984. To meet the growing needs of student community, Arts & Science College was started later in the year 1994 followed by Engineering College in 2000. Muthayammal Industrial Training Centre began its services in the year 1999.
