Department of Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering department was established in the year 2004 with the required approval from AICTE New Delhi. Sixty students are admitted every year. This department is headed by a PhD holder and he is having more than 28 years of Teaching Experience.

The Department has well qualified faculty members. Fourteen faculties are currently working in this department with adequate teaching experience. Three faculty members are about to get their doctoral degrees.

The department has well equipped laboratories such as Fluid Machine Lab, Thermal Engineering Lab, Heat and Mass Transfer Lab, Mechatronics Lab, Dynamics Lab, Strength of Materials Lab, Workshop Practice Lab, Machine Shop, CAD Lab, CAM Lab etc. CAD / CAM Labs are equipped with latest configured systems and work stations.

Advanced softwares like Pro-Engg, Auto CAD, Ansys, MathCAD, Mat Lab etc are available in this department to train the students towards employability skills. CAM Lab has both CNC Turning centre and Machining centre.

Many Alumni of this department are placed in leading Industrial organizations. Students are highly motivated to present technical papers in various forums. They are guided to carry out innovative projects in their final year.
