About the Department

During the academic year 2011-2012 thePG course in ME Applied Electronics had been introduced. The department is fully equipped with the state of art laboratories. The post graduate 2 year M.E. degree program is on a semester pattern. The department offers instruction in subjects relating and promotes R&D activities in related areas, collaborating with industries, wherever possible. The department has always strived to maintain its high standards. Apart from the theoretical course work, the department believes that the students should have a sound laboratory work. The students are exposed to the practical and industrial aspects of the subjects through laboratory work and periodic industrial visits. The students are encouraged to participate and present papers in national level technical seminars. Computer aided software packages with multiple-choice questions are used by the students for self-study and evaluation. The students are enrolled in professional bodies like Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA, and encouraged to become members of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers and the Institution of Engineers (India). The students are encouraged to participate and present technical papers in National and state level seminars.
