Muthayammal Educational Trust was founded with the contributions from Mr. R. Ramasamy, Mr. K. P. Ramaswamy and Mr. R. Kandasamy, who are closely related to each other and are basically contractors. Their vision was to impart quality education in the backward rural areas from which they hailed.

Mr. R. Ramasamy and Mr. R. Kandasamy are brothers and Mr. K. P. Ramaswamy is their maternal cousin. The other Trust Members are:-

The present strength of the Muthayammal Educational Trust is nine.

 The main objective of the Trust is to build and manage and render financial help to any educational and / or scientific institution for imparting education in Arts, Science, Medical, Engineering, Vocational and Technical subjects.

         Weekly Group discussions in smaller groups. Personal attention to individual’s academic performance, and remedial measures. Students are taken to relevant industries and shown the actual manufacturing of several components related to their theoretical subjects. Motivations towards group discussions and personally development are carried out. Weekly technical seminars are given by faculty members on various advanced technologies, where the students also participate.

 Class committee and faculty advisors are formed in each class so that the faculty advisors are in direct contact with students and discuss their personal and academic problem for solving them in an efficient manner.
