DEPARTMENT OF MCA

                MCA Department was established in the year 2001 affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE New Delhi . The objective of the department is to impart high quality theoretical as well as practical training and to produce different  software professionals needed by the IT industry.
             MCA is a three year full time course out of which two-and-a half years is on-campus training and the final semester is meant for the industrial project work. During this period, students get exposure to real-time project development cycle and actual working scenario. During the on-campus training period , the department organizes technical seminars , conduct aptitude tests, group discussions and mini projects apart from curricular works.

·         MCA Department is headed by a team of experienced faculty memebers with ample experience in academics and Industry.

·         Specialized programmes such as CISCO & Redhat to help students gain practical understanding of the operation of the modem TCP / IP network is another feature of the Department.

·         Staff Members and students papers on the various topics conducted in National / International conference.

·         Staff Members participated in National Level Seminars, Faculty Development Programme etc.

·         Our students won prozes for innovative porjects.

·         Our department constantly maintain 100% results in the University Examinations.

·         Our  department organized National Level Symposium & National level Seminars.

·         Most of the students got placed in the leading MNC’s / Leading Software Companies.

·         Well equipped MCA Laboratory  with latest Softwares & Technologies.

·         Internet Connection in the laboratory with a high speed braodband connection.

·         Vast collections of CD-ROM’s, e-publlicatins & large volumes of books are available in the MCA Library.
