            The MBA is the world’s top management qualification and holders are recognized as being at the top of the Profession. Organizations employing MBA’s have been growing faster than their competitors. The Department of Management Studies was established on 17^th August 2005.

Objectives:

   v  To equip students with an understanding of organizations, their management and the changing external environment in which they operate,

   v  Providing a stimulating introduction to the broad range of academic subjects that form management studies.

FACILITIES

The highpoint of MBA programme at Muthayammal College of Engineering is the well-rounded exposure that student gain from their two year of period of study. Apart from the rigors of a well structured theoretical regime, students are also get to experience the latest happenings in the corporate world at the fully equipped communication and internet laboratories.

Visiting faculty with industry experience is regularly invited for guest lectures and seminars.

The college also has a well-networked placement cell that coordinates both internship and career option for the graduating students. The placement cell is headed by one of the faculty member and also has a team of students who actively contribute towards locating opportunities in the corporate world.

            The modern corporate world is constantly sourcing new talent in the management Arena. At the department of management studies this is made possible by ensuring that student get a first hand experience of industry expectations through constant exposure to the latest happenings.

We also have separate library and computer lab faculties for attaining adequate emphasis on soft skill development and all around personality enhancement.

 LIBRARY

            Assess to information is a vital quality to unleashing an individual potential and an essential requisite in the task of nation building. Muthayammal Engineering College understands this role of library. Thus, the institution maintains high standards and exceptional quality in its Library to meet the most exacting needs of both faculty and students all times.

            Department of Management studies has an exclusive Library where large number of standard text books and books on all aspects of Management by well-known authors are stocked, and every efforts is made to obtain all titles recommended by the faculty.

(PG) CURRICULUM - FULL-TIME MODE

The Programme is affiliated to Anna University. The eligibility is a pass in any undergraduate degree, recognized by the university.

The core areas of study are divided into four semesters with emphasis on project implementation and execution in the last semester.
